QuriOS AI is intended for authorized educational use.

• Students under 18 may use QuriOS AI only under the authorization, supervision, or deployment model required by their school, institution, parent, guardian, or applicable law.
• Teachers, parents, school representatives, and other users may use QuriOS AI only for lawful and authorized educational or administrative purposes.
• If you access QuriOS AI on behalf of a school or other organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.

QuriOS AI is designed around school-managed use.

• Schools or institutions may provision, authorize, or oversee user access.
• Separate school-managed records, rosters, and institutional systems outside QuriOS AI remain the responsibility of the school or institution.
• Deleting an QuriOS AI account does not automatically delete separate school-owned or institution-owned records maintained outside QuriOS AI.

You are responsible for using QuriOS AI through authorized access only.

You agree to:

• provide accurate information where QuriOS AI requests account or profile data
• use only the account and role assigned or permitted to you
• keep credentials and authorized devices reasonably secure
• notify the appropriate school administrator or support channel if you suspect unauthorized access

You must not create unauthorized accounts, impersonate users, or access QuriOS AI in a way that bypasses school, product, or security controls.

QuriOS AI currently supports educational features that may include:

• AI-assisted study chat
• Study Hub content and related learning resources
• project and conversation organization features
• starred or saved study responses
• optional voice-to-text input for chat
• AR learning experiences where supported content is available

The exact features available to a user may depend on app release, deployment model, role, class, content availability, device compatibility, and school configuration.

Some QuriOS AI features require device capabilities or permissions.

• Camera access may be required to use AR features.
• Microphone access may be required if the user chooses voice input.
• Internet access is required for sign-in, cloud-backed content, analytics, crash reporting, and online chat features.
• AR features may require compatible Android hardware and Google AR Core support.

If required permissions are denied or the device is incompatible, some features may not work.

Subject to these Terms, Akcero grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use QuriOS AI solely for your own authorized educational or school-administrative use.

This license does not transfer any ownership rights in QuriOS AI. Except as expressly permitted by applicable law or by Akcero in writing, you may not copy, adapt, distribute, publicly display, reverse engineer, sell, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit QuriOS AI or any part of it.

You may use QuriOS AI only for lawful, authorized, and educationally appropriate purposes.

You must not:

• use QuriOS AI for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct
• harass, threaten, bully, exploit, or endanger any other person
• attempt to probe, break, bypass, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt QuriOS AI systems
• upload or submit content that violates applicable law, school policy, or the rights of others
• misuse AI responses, AR features, or study content in a way that is unsafe, deceptive, or unrelated to authorized educational use
• use QuriOS AI to collect or export another user's data without authorization

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms, school rules, or legal obligations have been violated.

7.1 AI-specific acceptable use

Because QuriOS AI includes AI-assisted study features, you must not use the Services to:

• generate, request, or distribute harmful, abusive, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate educational content
• seek non-educational answers where the product is designed to restrict use to classroom, study, or school-authorized contexts
• submit personal data, confidential school data, or third-party material that you are not authorized to provide
• rely on QuriOS AI as a substitute for emergency instructions, medical advice, legal advice, or other professional judgment
• use prompts, outputs, or workflows to mislead teachers, schools, parents, or students about the origin, authenticity, or authorship of academic work

Akcero may apply guardrails, rate limits, manual review, workflow restrictions, or suspension measures to maintain safe and appropriate educational use.

QuriOS AI includes technology-assisted learning features.

• AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a specific academic, legal, medical, or safety-critical purpose.
• Voice input is optional and should be used only where the user is authorized to use microphone features.
• AR features depend on supported content, compatible devices, camera access, and safe real-world use.

QuriOS AI is an educational support tool, not a substitute for professional advice, emergency guidance, or direct school supervision.

Users may submit questions, prompts, project details, and other study-related inputs through QuriOS AI. You remain responsible for the content you submit.

You represent that:

• you have the right to submit the content you provide
• your use of QuriOS AI and submitted content does not violate applicable law, school policy, or the rights of others

Our handling of personal data is governed by the QuriOS AI Privacy Policy.

QuriOS AI uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate, including Firebase services and AI model providers used to generate tutoring responses.

Your use of QuriOS AI may therefore involve processing by those service providers as part of the operation of the Services.

QuriOS AI, including its software, design, branding, original content, and related materials, is owned by Akcero or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly permitted by law or by written authorization, you may not:

• copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from QuriOS AI
• use QuriOS AI or its content to build a competing service
• remove proprietary notices or misuse QuriOS AI branding or materials

Third-party content, open-source components, and educational materials remain subject to their own applicable rights and licenses.

If you submit suggestions, ideas, product feedback, improvement requests, or similar input about QuriOS AI ("Feedback"), you grant Akcero a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and incorporate that Feedback into the Services without compensation to you.

Please do not submit Feedback that you are not authorized to share.

We aim to keep QuriOS AI available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may:

• deploy fixes, patches, or security updates
• change or remove features
• perform maintenance or operational interventions
• suspend access where necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or product reliability

QuriOS AI includes an in-app "Delete Account / Delete My Data" flow for app-owned account and study data.

If you delete your QuriOS AI account:

• you will lose access to the relevant app account and associated app-owned study data
• local cached profile and conversation data is expected to be cleared from the device after sign-out
• for student users, app-owned backend study records are intended to be removed by the current deletion flow
• separate school-managed records outside QuriOS AI are not automatically removed

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• required by a school-managed deployment or authorized administrator
• necessary to address security, misuse, or legal risk
• your use of QuriOS AI violates these Terms or applicable policy

QuriOS AI is provided on an "as available" and "as provided" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• we do not guarantee that QuriOS AI will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• we do not guarantee that AI-generated or educational outputs will always be correct, complete, or suitable for a specific purpose
• users remain responsible for reviewing important outputs and using appropriate supervision and judgment

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Akcero will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to QuriOS AI, including loss of data, loss of opportunity, service interruption, or reliance on AI-generated output.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

Akcero will not be liable for any delay, interruption, or failure to perform to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, cloud-service outages, cyber incidents, or widespread power failures.

Where reasonably possible, we will work to restore affected Services as soon as practicable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes arising out of or relating to QuriOS AI or these Terms will be subject to the courts having jurisdiction in Hyderabad, Telangana.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect product, operational, legal, or compliance changes. When we do, we will update the date above and publish the revised version before relying on the updated terms for production use.
